#repost via @instagodministries “Have you ever been in place where God promised you’re going to make it to the other side but the thing you depended on to take you there fell apart but you still made it to your destination anyway. He never promised what you’re in and who you’re with will be there with you to where you’re going.. He said you’ll be there. The reason why so many people aren’t free from their past is because you’re in love with what you had. And you think if your life does not contain the shape you started with you don’t think it can get you to where you’re going.
Just because things are broken in your life does not mean you can’t survive. Just because your husband left you or your wife left you doesn’t mean you can’t survive. Just because your job cut your pay or laid you off doesn’t mean you can’t survive. Just because you’re behind on your bills doesn’t mean you can’t survive. Quit trying to put what was broken back together and hold on to what’s left until you get to where God’s trying to take you. You can make it on broken pieces.
Every blessing doesn’t come to stay. Every relationship wasn’t meant to last. Every friend is not going to be a life long friend. You see… God gives you what you need for that season and if it leaves don’t cry over what used to be and over what was. Because if you needed it for the future it would’ve stayed. The bible says, “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” In other words, you may not have everything but thank God for what you got left! Thank Him for the pieces. You don’t have to have the prefect person to have a marriage. You don’t have to have a perfect job to pay the bills. Everybody in the church doesn’t have to like you for you to have church. You can make it on broken pieces! Stop focusing on what you lost and focus on what you have left!” #quote #instaquote
